The sun was barely up when Momo heard whispers outside his little round door. “Shh! He’s awake!” Momo peeked out. Scurry, flutter, plop! Nobody was in sight. Only the purple clover, nodding in the breeze, and one red berry rolling down the path.
“Good morning, Bunny!” called Momo. Bunny jumped. She was hiding something behind her back, and her paws were stained berry-red. “Not yet, Momo! Not yet!” she squeaked, and away she hopped.
