Wonder Teller
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Wonder Teller collects, how we use it, and the choices families have. It is written for the parents and guardians who set up and manage a reading room for their children.
Who we are
Wonder Teller is a family reading room operated by Little Citrus Studio LLC. When this policy says "we", "us", or "Wonder Teller", it means Little Citrus Studio LLC.
You can reach us at contact@wonderteller.com with any question about this policy or your family’s information.
Information we collect
Account information: the email address a parent uses to sign in, and basic settings for the account.
Child profiles: the name, reading age, and preferences a parent creates for each child. These are set up and managed by the parent, not by the child.
Saved words and reading activity: the words a child saves while reading and related progress, so families can revisit them.
Imported book content: pages, images, and text a parent imports so Wonder Teller can read them aloud within the family’s account.
Payment information: subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers; Stripe handles payment details under its own terms and privacy policy.
Children’s privacy and COPPA
Wonder Teller is designed to be parent-controlled. Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian, and child profiles exist inside a parent’s account.
We aim to collect only what is needed to provide the reading experience the parent has set up, and we do not ask children to provide personal information directly. Parents can review and remove child profiles and saved content from their account.
How we use information
We use information to provide the reading room: reading pages aloud, explaining words, saving words a child chooses, keeping per-child settings, and managing the family’s subscription.
We use limited, privacy-preserving diagnostics to keep the service reliable. We do not sell personal information, and we do not show advertising.
Data retention and deletion
We keep account, profile, and reading information while an account is active so families can return to their shelf.
Parents can remove child profiles and saved content from within the app. To request deletion of an account and its associated data, contact us at contact@wonderteller.com.
